Inter Milan midfielder Christian Eriksen is on borrowed time at the San Siroafter the Denmark national team player failed to adapt to the tactics of manager Antonio Conte at the club. The 28-year-old Denmark player could leave the Nerazzuri after just one year at the club. Christian Eriksen was at Tottenham Hotspur before he left the North London club to sign for Inter Milan at the start of this year.

Inter Milan paid €20m (£17m) to secure the transfer of Christian Eriksen from Spurs. The Denmark international has been linked with a return to the Premier League when the transfer window opens again in the first month of next year. In one of his recent press conferences, Spurs boss Jose Mourinho was asked about a possible return to the club for Christian Eriksen.

Jose Mourinho told reporters that Christian Eriksen won’t be returning to the new Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as he revealed that the club don’t have a place for the Danish international at the moment as he pointed out that it doesn’t mean that the Danish international is not a quality player. Inter Milan chief executive Beppe Marottatold DAZN that they can’t stop any player from leaving the club as he signalled that Christian Eriksen is on the verge of leaving the Italian Serie A title contenders who are second on the league table. North London club Arsenal are said to be one of the teams keen on a move for Christian Eriksenas the Gunners try to sign a playmaker to boost their squad on the creative side. Arsenal have struggled to create chances in the Premier League and that has affected the goal output of the team. Arsenal are one of the lowest goalscorers in the Premier League this season with ten goals scored in the first twelve league games of the season.
